Karya Indra was established in 1969 at Aceh, Indonesia. Founder by Danny Taufik, well greeted as Mr. Chong, this company originally was doing rattan materials only, by collecting from jungle, do the process and selling directly to overseas.

Then at 1983, it moved to Medan, North Sumatra. In 48000 sqm land near Medan city, Karya Indra has later on expanded its business for wider range of rattan materials such as core, peel, webbing(machine weaving)
and later it started to make the furniture.

With the training from technical know-how from Spain (Industrias Mova), Netherland (Rohe) and also Taiwan (Nuchar), the company has more focus in furniture and exported the products to: Spain, Netherland, Taiwan, Japan, Turkey, Denmark, Germany.

In 2008, it start the production of wooden furniture, with the combination of wood and rattan. They have offer wider variety of products, such as furniture from rattan and combined with solid rubber wood, iron, synthetic, sea grass, etc. We specialized at solid wood furniture. We have a facility to support full range of furniture production including rough mill, machining, finishing, packing.
